Emerald characteristics

From a more scientific point of view, emerald derives its magnificent green color from chemical elements such as chromium and vanadium. It's also its natural imperfections, called "Gardens" by jewellers, that characterize emerald.

Most of the world's largest and most beautiful emeralds come from the famous Muzo mine in the heart of the Colombian rainforest.

But beyond its physical appearance, emerald is attributed with powerful properties in lithotherapy, stimulating memory and soothing the emotions.

Its green color evokes balance, life, prosperity and optimism, making every piece of emerald jewelry a symbol of positivity and hope.
